Intrinsically Safe Wireless Inclinometer* for Tank Hatch and Pump Jack Monitoring in the Oil & Gas Industry
SignalFire introduces the TILTScout™, a wireless solid state inclinometer that monitors the position of tank hatches and movement of pump jacks.
- Mitigates environmental and safety risks associated with accidental emissions from oil tanks and vessels by reporting if a tank hatch is closed, partially opened or fully opened.
- When operating in pump jack mode, the TiltSCOUT detects pump up-and-down-motion to verify operations and report on/off events so operators can quickly resolve issues if a pump jack unexpectedly stops.
Operating as a standard wireless node in the SignalFire Remote Sensing System, the TiltSCOUT reports information to a central Gateway that transmits the data to a control center for remote monitoring. Modbus or digital alarming is available at the gateway.
