SignalFire Telemetry Introduces the Multi Input/Output Module

Hudson, Ma. SignalFire Telemetry is introducing a new module designed to work with its popular Modbus-in-a-Stick product line. The Multi Input/Output Module (MIOM) is a microprocessor-based system that is designed for more sophisticated IO control and monitoring than can be done with traditional Modbus IO modules.

Key features include:

  • 8 Analog Inputs – 1-5V or 4-20 mA with units of measure scaling and threshold monitoring
  • 6 Digital Inputs with report on state change and totalizing
  • 2 Single Pole and 2 Double Pole relays with direct and programmable pulse control
  • Up to 8 units may be daisy chained
  • Easy to use table driven configuration interface
  • Class 1 Division 2 Certification (pending)

“The Modbus-in-a-Stick with the MIOM is a flexible solution that can be used in a variety of applications where power is available” said Scott Keller, SignalFire’s CEO. “These include monitoring and controlling heater treaters, separators, plunger lift, and tubing and casing pressures.  It’s easy-to-use design provides sophisticated control as well as the ability to remotely control a wide variety  of assets”
